How Titan works

The infrared light travels through to deeper layers of skin causing the tightening of the collagen architecture. The heat is applied deep within the skin, some swelling and redness may occur. A single procedure may take an hour.

Results

Results may be seen over time however full benefits will not be observed for at least three to six months. The waiting period is the most arduous part of the procedure, because it is not immediate.

The advantage of the Titan system over the therma-lifting techniques is that skin and underlying fat is heated uniformly avoiding fluctuations in differential heating, eliminating the risk of dimpling of the skin.

The Titan procedure does not injure fat in the skin due in part to its unique optical energy source. Patients can be successfully treated on many areas of the body where skin is loose or sagging. Anywhere form the face to the stomach, upper arms, legs or hands can be treated. Patients do not have to be concerned with skin type or with pigmentation. Patients of all ages, sizes, and skin types can be treated.

Treatment

During treatment, you will feel a brief heating sensation over the skin. Some patients take a mild pain reliever prior to the procedure and report no discomfort. Most patients report not having to take anything and being comfortable. Following the treatment, there may be some redness and swelling in the treated area, which should be gone within a few hours. There is absolutely no downtime involved and all patients are able to return to normal activity the same day.

Results can vary, some see them immediately. And others report a gradual improvement over a three to six month. The Titan system can be used to look younger, in treating sagginess and relaxed skin and is a safe alternative to surgery.
